The TatumLearn program uses Tatum1 to guide users through three modules to learn tactile fingerspelling and improve English literacy. Each module reinforces and extends previous learning while providing an interactive, self-paced experience tailored to individual progress.

Letters are the foundational level of the TatumLearn curriculum that introduces users to the alphabet through a simple 3-4 button interface.
Users progress from shorter 3-letter words to longer 10+ letter words from 5 semantic categories. This gradual increase in word length helps learners apply their letter knowledge to real vocabulary while developing speed and fluency.
Users begin with short two-word phrases and gradually progress to complete sentences that contain 9+ words. Users develop the ability to recognize space indicators and english grammatical structure.

Since launching our pilot program in October 2025, TatumLearn participants across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York have achieved meaningful outcomes.
